David has been advising employers on human resources and benefits for over fifteen years and prior to that spent three years in private law practice and two years working in the Minnesota court system. David works with employers and AFG?s benefits consultants on a wide range of HR compliance and strategic issues, with a particular focus in Health Care Reform and employee benefits strategic planning.
With major Health Care Reform compliance obligations imminent for individuals and employers alike, what last minute strategies and implementation should an organization engage in to maximize the value of their current benefits and minimize the risks and penalties?  It is more important than ever for employers to engage in strategic planning to ensure they are ready to meet their benefit goals and objectives ? from a fiscal standpoint and to maintain their designed corporate culture.  This presentation will help employers of all types identify compliance obligations, cost implications and relevant planning strategies as the most important mandates of health care reform kick in starting in 2014.
