I have worked with TreeHouse, Inc for five years as the area director for TreeHouse in Scott County. My passion and God-given calling is to help end the hopelessness among our teens. Hopelessness looks like many things such as anxiety, depression, anger-related issues, problems at school, self-harm, substance abuse, thoughts and attempts of suicide, bullying and aggression, unsafe sex and dating relationships, criminal behavior and more. The pandemic has taken a toll on all of us, but teens especially.
I have served youth for the past 20 years in many different capacities from youth pastor to developing two non-profits. The Well is a non-profit 501c3 rec center located in New Prague, MN, founded by my husband and I in 2017. We serve teens, 12-21 years of age and through that non-profit, we became part of the TreeHouse Network offering support groups and one-on-one mentoring in five locations across Scott County.
