Description
The annual horseshoe hunt sponsored by the Dan Patch Days (DPD) Historical Society has taken place since 1996 and precedes Day Patch Days.
How it works:
- A horseshoe is hidden somewhere within the city of Savage on public property.
- Clues are given out each Friday at 9 PM to lead you to the location of a special horseshoe hidden. Find the clues on the Dan Patch Historical Society’s website or at the Savage Library.
- The lucky winner receives $100, gets to keep the commemorative horseshoe, and has the opportunity to ride with the Dan Patch Historical Society in the parade.
- Anyone who believes they've found Dan's shoe, should contact questions@danpatch.com. Please leave a contact number and we will follow up ASAP.
- Whoever finds the horseshoe MUST have purchased a 2025 Dan Patch Days button in order to win the $100 prize money.
