DESCRIPTION:SERVICE\n\nDAY SATURDAY\nTHE CITY OF SAVAGE: SERVING TOGETHER TO MAKE OUR WORLD BETTER\n\nAPRIL 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.\n\nSERVICE FAIR AT CITY HALL: Come to Savage City Hall\n\n(6000 McColl Drive) and travel around the city campus to participate in a\n\nvariety of organized projects. Examples include repacking bulk bags of rice\n\nfor a local food shelf\, making fl eece dog toys and blankets for an animal\n\nshelter\, and so many more! Come for an hour\, or stay all day. There will be\n\nactivities for all ages.\n\nDONATE ITEMS: Non-profi ts will be at Service Day that can use your\n\ndonations to help others. Bring these needed items to the event or between\n\nApril 15 22 to City Hall or the library:\n\n used shoes any size or type\n\n children's books & toys gently used\n\n non-perishable food\n\n brown paper grocery bags\n\n coins and bills - every $50 will purchase a goat to provide sustainable income\n\nCOMPLETE YOUR OWN PROJECT: Residents\, businesses\,\n\nor organizations are encouraged to host a donation drive for items we are\n\ncollecting at Service Day. Other ways to participate include attending the\n\nCommunity Park clean up event or donating blood on Service Day at City Hall\n\nthrough the Red Cross.\n\nDON'T FORGET! Everyone who comes\n\nto Service Day Saturday will receive a commemorative\n\nwristband to wear around\n\ntown. Those wearing the wristbands will\n\nreceive special deals at participating businesses\n\nthroughout the weekend.
