DESCRIPTION:2017 Savage City Council Candidate Forum\n\n\nThe Savage Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum on Tuesday\, October 17\, 2017 for the three people running for the Savage City Council.  The moderated forum will provide time for each candidate to field prepared questions from the public and local businesses\, which will give Savage residents first-hand exposure to the candidates.\n\n\n\nThe forum\, which will be open to the public\, will begin at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.  The event will be broadcast live on Savage TV.\n\n\n\nThe general election is Tuesday\, November 7\, 2017. There are two seats available.   The candidates include incumbent Gene Abbott\, along with  Bob Coughlen\, and Carl J.
