Burnsville High School invites you to be a part of its inaugural Career Expo!
on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 3:30 to 6:00 PM.
Burnsville High School is transforming the learning environment for students by helping them identify what they like, recognize what they are good at, and plan for future opportunities that lead to additional education and/or employment. You can help by providing credible careers information, share what skills are needed, and what skills look like at the operational level.
Here is some basic information about this opportunity for your business/industry:
- Access to hundreds of students to share information about your business/industry and an opportunity to inspire students
- A dedicated area to “set up shop”
- An alignment to the high school’s pathways model (ie. an engineering firm will have a table in the Design, Engineering and Manufacturing section)
- Future opportunities to connect with teachers, students and the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage community
A registration form will be sent to you in early January with specific information to make your participation easy and convenient. (NOTE: This is not a job fair. We will host an event in April 2017 for businesses seeking high school employees!)
We hope you can join us in exploring how we can support students in their academic and skill exploration in order to pursue education/training to successfully contribute to the economic development of our communities.
