2025 Dan Patch Days Horseshoe Hunt

The annual horseshoe hunt sponsored by the Dan Patch Days (DPD) Historical Society has taken place since 1996 and precedes Day Patch Days.



How it works:

• A horseshoe is hidden somewhere within the city of Savage on public property.
• Clues are given out each Friday at 9 PM to lead you to the location of a special horseshoe hidden. Find the clues on the Dan Patch Historical Society’s website or at the Savage Library.
• The lucky winner receives $100, gets to keep the commemorative horseshoe, and has the opportunity to ride with the Dan Patch Historical Society in the parade.
• Anyone who believes they've found Dan's shoe, should contact questions@danpatch.com. Please leave a contact number and we will follow up ASAP.
• Whoever finds the horseshoe MUST have purchased a 2025 Dan Patch Days button in order to win the $100 prize money.
