Join us on November 18 to discuss your thoughts on how the ARPA funds that the City of Savage expects to receive.  \n\n\n\nThe Federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was signed into law in March 2021 to provide significant resources to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency and its economic impacts. The City of Savage is expected to receive $3.4 M in one-time direct federal aid. These funds do come with restrictions and designated purposes. See our FAQs on this page for more details.\n\n \n\n\n\nHelp us prioritize how to use these funds.\n\nOur City Council is committed to distributing these funds to meet the needs of the community and rebuild our local economy. They have identified four priority areas where this funding could be most effective and provide the most equitable community outcomes. Placemaking\, when done correctly\, serves to better connect people to the places where they live\, work\, and play. It can range from redesigning a public space\, introducing public art\, or making people aware of the history around them. To do this correctly\, we need your input. How do you use public space in Savage? Where do you gather? How would you like the City to look in the future?
