DESCRIPTION:Ambassador Meeting\n\n\n\nThe Ambassador Committee will meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 1:30pm at various locations. \n\n\n\nOur Savage Chamber Ambassadors visit new businesses and welcome them to the community! Our Savage Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors meet monthly to discuss new businesses in town\, new companies joining the Chamber\, community and industry information.\n\n\n\nFor more information on this committee or to have the Savage Chamber Ambassadors visit your business\, contact Anne Masis at anne@savagechamber.com or our Ambassador Chair\, Hillary Slama at hillary.slama@engelvoelkers.com.\n\n\n\nPurpose:\n\nThe purpose of the Savage Chamber Ambassadors is to represent the Savage Chamber of Commerce by promoting business participation and engagement while generating an atmosphere of good will and advocating for member businesses through positive community exposure.\n\n \n\nGoals:\n\nThe goal of the Ambassador Committee is to create a better connected Chamber by providing volunteer and leadership opportunities to connect and create meaningful relationships with both existing and new chamber members\, as well as community alliances and business growth within Savage and the surrounding areas. \n\nAmbassadors will attempt to make personal contact with members\, both active and inactive\, that are 6 months into their membership either by phone call\, or physical visit. The Chamber will provide a script that Ambassadors will follow to gain information on their level of satisfaction with their investment. Ambassadors are encouraged to physically stop by the members that are assigned to them to make a personal visit\, but if the member is out of the area\, has a home office\, etc.\, a phone call will suffice. Ambassadors are welcome to do visits in groups\, or as an individual.\n\nAmbassadors attend chamber events with the purpose of welcoming new and existing members. The goal is to make all members feel welcome within the organization.\n\n \n\nAmbassador Duties:\n\n Have fun!\n Commit to serving one year as an Ambassador\n Attend monthly Ambassador meetings\n Attend monthly luncheons\, as available\n Attend networking events\, ribbon cutting events\, and grand openings\n Greet new and existing members at events\, make introductions\n Make monthly retention phone calls/visits to assigned members\n Have a basic understanding of the Chamber\, staff\, committees\n\n \n\n \n\nBenefits to being an Ambassador:\n\nMost importantly\, Ambassdaors get to represent and serve the Savage Chamber and benefit from the growth and retention of it's members. Ambassadors are an extension of the chamber staff\, and as a result\, relationships are built through member visits and being the first friendly face that most new members and guests see at events. Ambassadors also receive special recognition at events\, on the Savage Chamber website\, and weekly e-blast. Our Ambassadors play a big role in our chamber community!\n\nThere is no fee for participating in the Savage Chamber Ambassador program\, and it is open to all current members of the Savage Chamber of Commerce.
